The project explores eco-feminism within a socio-political context, integrating architecture, sculpture, and design to challenge patriarchal structures. "Blooming in Constraint" focuses on eco-feminism and maternity, advocating for gender equality and inclusivity while highlighting marginalised emotions overlooked by patriarchy.
Inspired by Marlene Smith’s “Art History,” the work engages space to evoke emotional resonance, honouring women’s movement pioneers. It visualises emotions like rebellion and resistance through colour changes in the wind, creating an emotional urban installation. By encouraging people of all genders to wear the piece, it further underscores art’s role in social transition, aligning with the exhibition’s exploration of art collectives and individual social identities.
